RRB’s recruitment examinations

Railway recruitment board conducts the following three examinations for different recruitment positions:

  1. Computer based test or examination for ALP & Technician posts. The recruitment is held in two stages followed by Aptitude Test and Document verification. First stage CBT is generally held in the months of May and June. The second CBT is held in subsequent months with a gap of 4-5 months. The document verification process happens at the end. This recruitment process generally takes a year to complete.
  2. Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam to recruit for job profiles like Goods guard, Commercial apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Assistant Station Master, Traffic Assistant, etc. all over India. It is one of the biggest exams conducted by any organization in India.

RRB NTPC 2021 Exam answer key
