NSO Eligibility Criteria
National Science Olympiad is Basically for School students who want to evaluate their academic and scientific aptitude. NSO conducted in 2 levels – Level 1 & Level 2.
NSO Level 1 Eligibility
There is no such particular standards for level exams, this exam is mainly open to academy students from class 11 & class 12. Also, in classes 1 and 2 there are no rules for minimum marks which addresses Olympiad Open to all School students.
NSO Level 2 Eligibility
Only the pupils who made well in the Level 1 exam will be shortlisted for the Level 2 exam. The following students will be acceptable:
- Top 5% of the students from every class who appeared for the Level 1 exam
- Best 25 region wise rank holders from each class
- Class toppers from each participating academy where at least ten students from a class appear in the exam and score 50% qualifying marks.
