Mysore Of University (UOM) – The University of Mysore is the sixth oldest university in India and the first in the state of Karnataka. It was established on 27th July 1916. It is also fortunate to be the first university in the country to be established outside the limits of British India. The party didn’t end there, it is also the first university to be accredited by NAAC in 2000 with five-star status.
